have you guys ever heard about rafting ? that's kinda great sport . officially we ride a boat , and trough pass the river . till the end of the river .
the river is called PEKALEN RIVER , it is located in PROBOLINGGO , EAST JAVA .
we can go there by car , but be carefull of the road , the road was totally extreme and dangerous . the stone was so big , it's really hard for me reaching that place . i went there with my sister and my friends . from SURABAYA to PROBOLINGGO , it needs time about 4 hours by car . After we arrived in that place , the basecamp . the guide asked us to put off all the the stuff that we brought . Afterwards , we took our property that already been prepared by the guide . Row and safety helmet . and so on .
tbut we still have to take 1 hour to reach the river , because the river was so far and located in the bottom of the mountain , we still have to track the jungle about 1 hour . ah . i was so exhausted . but it was gone when i reached to the river , wow . so wonderful :) the river was so widht , and surrounding by the rock , and greatly massive . The first that i thought was " oh damn , should i jump to the water ?" feel so creepy watching the boat and the river .
afterwards , the guide gave the instruction getting on the boat , and giving the instruction how the way to puddle the row . and praying also . hahhaa . i was so curious , cant wait to jump to river .
after doing all the preparation , it's time to us going trough the river . voila ....
we passed the water , and we enjoy seeing the cave . there were so many caves beside the river . the one that i know well is " JERAM LOWO " and exactly know , why did that cave was being called as JERAM LOWO , because there were a lot bat hiding behind the cave . and yack ... the smell was so bad . yack . but i think it was so fun . we spent 3 hours going through the river . but it seems just 1 hours , not too long .
we stopped in the middle of the river in order to take a picture , and we basicly stop under the waterfall . wow , so awesome .
